Many thanks for a most successful boat movement last week. I was most impressed with the service you provided, the capable and professional performance of driver John and the look and quality of your vehicle.

John coped admirably with the gales delaying him in Cherbourg, making up time, loading the boat in St Jean and getting to Ouisterham on schedule. This despite the Brexit ferry delays, increased customs checks and the leap aboard stowaways (thwarted by good driving). Unloading in Caversham on Friday was a successful end to the journey and I was very pleased to see the boat in the Thames after the challenges of the previous days. Well done indeed!

“After using Boat Transport three times in 6 months and my boats travelling over 600 miles by road, I can highly recommend Geoff and Boat Transport Ltd.

I live near Upton on Severn where I used to keep my boat. In winter 2014 “Sundowner”, my Stevens 1240 was on the hard whilst being renovated. 

During this time I witnessed many boat movements by specialist transport haulage companies. One stood out more than the rest and that was Boat Transport and Geoff. I had a chat with him and we got on straight away so I took his details. 

In 2015 I decided to sell Sundowner as my plans had changed. I needed a larger sea going boat with two engines. I decided on “Atlantic Star”, an Atlantic 460 another Dutch boat, 46 foot long 15 foot wide, from NYA at Brundle in Norfolk. I contacted Geoff told him what I wanted we did a deal and he collected her and brought her back to Upton on Severn. 

The follow Spring 2016 my wife and I decided to move back to Dartmouth an area I spent many years cruising. Boat Transport moved Atlantic Star down to Plymouth in May. Everything went well Geoff made the whole job trouble free.

So, in June we decided to move “Sundowner” to Tingdene at Windsor Race Course Marina using Boat Transport Ltd again ready for “Sundowner” to be sold.

I regularly recommend Boat Transport Ltd. Geoff has a can do attitude, he is dedicated to his job which he takes a lot of pride in. I have had an HGV 1 but I'm amazed how he and his other driver, John, handles their rigs so professionally. Importantly they have cared for my boats as much as I do.

When considering moving your boat by road transport speak to Geoff, he's on his mobile and even when he is driving he will always get back to you. From my experience, movements have been made with minimum fuss, less stress, and boats arrive on time and in the same condition they left.
